Our stonemasons can craft heads and lintels from our fine grade sandstone, Port Lime or Port Regent limestones. These can be moulded, tooled and finished to create plain or decorative stone masonry.

For renovations or restorations, we can design and make replicas of existing heads or lintels. We stock Wealden Sussex Sandstone and Yorkstone, as well as Port Regent limestone, which can be used to replace Portland Stone, and Port Lime, which emulates Bath Stone.

For new builds and extensions, our standard tapered natural stone window heads made from Wealden Sussex Sandstone, Port Lime or Port Regent offer excellent value for money.

Since we make, shape and carve our own bricks, we can manufacture bricks for restoring historic window heads. Our rubbed and gauged special bricks are approved for use on listed buildings, and can be shaped to your specifications or to precisely match any originals.

Many of the brick window heads and the brick lintels that we make consist of a gauged brick arch, with or without a keystone.

Our brick arches can be structural up to certain sizes where we can supply preformed units on concrete or steel backings ready to be lifted into place. We can advise on the best methods and design details.
